Search before filing
A search helps identify earlier marks and potential conflicts. It informs the filing strategy, but cannot guarantee that an application will be accepted. We discuss the findings and any changes that merit consideration.
Protect your brand
Plan your China trademark filing before your brand reaches the market. We help review the mark, select goods and services, prepare the application and follow its progress.

Registering a company does not itself register the brand used on your products or services. Trademark planning should consider the name, logo, goods and services, and any Chinese-language brand you intend to use. We help define that filing scope before preparing an application.
What we help with
A search helps identify earlier marks and potential conflicts. It informs the filing strategy, but cannot guarantee that an application will be accepted. We discuss the findings and any changes that merit consideration.
The goods and services in your application determine the protection you seek. We review the commercial use of your brand and the relevant classification, including product lines you are preparing to introduce.
We help gather applicant information, the mark and authorisation documents. CNIPA states that foreign companies without a business domicile in China must entrust an agency established under Chinese law to handle domestic trademark filings. The filing arrangement is confirmed in your proposal.
Filing begins an examination process; it does not confer an approval guarantee. We coordinate progress updates and discuss responses to examination issues or opposition within the agreed work scope. Renewals and record changes can be scoped separately.
A useful starting point
You do not need a finished document pack to make an inquiry. These details help us assess the work.
From inquiry to next steps
Confirm the applicant, mark and intended commercial use.
Review search results and goods and services coverage.
Arrange the application materials and filing route.
Follow examination and identify further work if needed.
Details that matter
An overseas registration alone does not automatically provide protection in mainland China. A Chinese domestic registration or an international registration designating China may be relevant. We review what you already hold.
If you intend to use a Chinese name, consider it in the filing strategy. A word mark, logo and translated or adapted name can require separate assessment.
No. A search is a planning tool. Acceptance depends on examination, earlier rights and other factors, including objections raised during the process.
Discuss the intended applicant with us. A filing may be made in the name of an overseas business using the applicable filing route; you do not need to assume the Chinese company must be formed first.
We explain the issue and the available response work. Any response, appeal or dispute service should be agreed separately where it falls outside the initial filing scope.
